Pistachio pesto with Erotico chili powder
Ingredients:
• 7.7 oz of unsalted pistachios
• 1.7 oz of grated Parmesan cheese
• ½ teaspoon of Erotico chili powder
• basil leaves
• ¼ rind of lemon
• 1 clove of garlic
• 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
• flavouring Chilisecret Peperita
• 1 cup of water
Boil the pistachios for 5 minutes, add cold water and peel them. Pour the extra virgin olive oil, the Parmesan cheese, the basil leaves, the lemon peel, garlic and the Erotico powder in a blender and whip for 1-2 minutes.
Add the cup of water and the Chilisecret flavouring blend for few seconds. The spicy pistachio pesto it's ideal to flavouring pasta, sandwiches or canapés.
