Too many ripe bananas? Don't throw them away! We'll make a spicy Banana Cake for a special breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
450g ripe bananas (about 4 bananas)
200g all-purpose flour
120g butter
120g sugar
2 eggs
6g baking powder
3g baking soda
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon of Organic Erotic Powder - No. 3
A pinch of salt
Lemon juice (as needed)
Instructions:
Peel the ripe bananas and slice them. Place them in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Mash them with a fork until smooth.
In another bowl, cream the softened butter with sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add the baking powder and a pinch of salt, then incorporate the banana puree into the mixture, mixing well.
Sift the flour directly into the bowl and add the baking soda, ground cinnamon, and Organic Erotic Powder - No. 3. Mix until you get a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Level the surface and make a lengthwise incision with a knife blade dipped in melted butter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan before removing it and slicing it. Serve and enjoy it as a delicious solution to use up excess ripe bananas.
