Summer? Want something refreshing? Let's prepare the timeless mojito... but this time "spicy". This version of the classic Cuban cocktail adds a touch of heat for a unique sensory experience. Perfect for those who love to experiment with new flavors and aren't afraid of a bit of spice! Ingredients
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
Juice of 1 whole lime
Fresh mint leaves
Crushed ice
White rum (quantity to taste)
Soda
Preparation
In a glass, put 2 teaspoons of brown sugar.
Add the cayenne pepper powder.
Squeeze the juice of a whole lime into the glass.
Stir carefully until the sugar dissolves in the lime juice.
Add a few fresh mint leaves to the glass.
Gently muddle the mint leaves with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the aromas without completely crushing them.
Fill the glass with crushed ice.
Add white rum to taste, usually between 45 ml (1.5 oz) and 60 ml (2 oz), depending on preference.
Top off the cocktail with soda to fill the glass.
Stir gently to mix all the ingredients.
Garnish with a lime slice and a sprig of mint for a final touch.
This cocktail is perfect for summer evenings or to spice up any occasion with its refreshing and spicy touch. Cheers!
