Preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: 10 min

Difficulty: very easy

Cost: very low
Ingredients:
  • 1 Angus hamburger (about 200 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of high-temperature cooking oil or clarified butter
  • Fresh rosemary (optional)
  • Sweet paprika or black pepper (optional)
  • A drizzle of Carolina Reaper dressing from Peperita
Instructions:
To prepare an Angus hamburger with Carolina Reaper dressing, start by removing the hamburger patty from the refrigerator one hour before cooking to bring it to room temperature, ensuring more even cooking. After this resting period, pat the meat dry with paper towels. Brush the hamburger with a thin layer of clarified butter or high-temperature oil; if desired, you can add a pinch of sweet paprika, black pepper, and a few rosemary needles to enhance the flavor.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until it's very hot, then place the Angus hamburger patty in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adjusting the cooking times based on the thickness of the meat and your preferences. Once cooked, remove the hamburger from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Drizzle with Carolina Reaper dressing from Peperita, which will add a spicy and aromatic kick to the meat.
Serve the hamburger immediately, accompanied by fresh sides or fries for a complete and flavorful meal.
