Preparation time: 20 min
Cooking time: 20 min
Difficulty: easy
Cost: medium
Ingredients (serves 4):
4 salmon fillets (about 150 g each)
1 orange (sliced thinly)
1 lemon (sliced thinly)
2 tbsp honey
1 pinch of Jalap-lemon Peperita
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the salmon:
Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Gently pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season the fillets:
Brush each fillet with a thin layer of honey. Arrange some slices of orange and lemon on top of each fillet, alternating them.
Add spices:
Sprinkle a light dusting of Jalap-lemon Peperita, being careful to balance the spice level with the other flavors.
Bake the salmon:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the salmon for 15 minutes, or until the fish is tender and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
Transfer the fillets to a serving platter, garnishing with citrus slices and, if desired, a drizzle of fresh orange juice.
Pair the salmon with a side of steamed vegetables or a fennel and citrus salad for a light and harmonious meal.
