Calories: 320 Kcal

Preparation time: 20 min

Difficulty: very easy

Cost: low
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices of crustless pan carrè (white bread)
  • 200 g of thinly sliced smoked salmon
  • 150 g of cream cheese (like Philadelphia)
  • 4 teaspoons of Scotch Bonnet paté
  • Juice of half a lemon (optional)
  • Chopped chives (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Lightly flatten the slices of pan carrè with a rolling pin to make them thinner and easier to roll.
  2. Spread an even layer of cream cheese on each slice of pan carrè.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Scotch Bonnet paté over the cream cheese.
  4. Lay the slices of smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese and paté, distributing them evenly.
  5. If desired, sprinkle a little lemon juice over the salmon for a touch of freshness.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped chives to add color and flavor.
  7. Carefully roll each slice of pan carrè into a tight roll.
  8. Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap to maintain its shape.
  9. Let the rolls rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up and allow the flavors to blend.
  10. Remove the plastic wrap from the rolls and slice them into rounds about 2-3 cm thick.
  11. Arrange the rolls on a serving plate and serve.
