SPICY HONEY CHICKEN

Ingredients (serves 4):
4 chicken thighs (or 8 wings/slices of chicken breast)
3 tablespoons of Chili Secret sauce by Peperita
3 tablespoons of honey (preferably acacia or wildflower)
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon of sweet paprika (optional)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the marinade
In a large bowl, mix the Chili Secret sauce with honey, olive oil, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, pepper, and sweet paprika if desired.
Marinate the chicken
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (preferably 3–4 hours for a more intense flavor).
Cook the chicken
Grill: Heat a grill or griddle pan and cook the chicken over medium heat, turning it frequently and brushing it with the remaining marinade, until cooked through and caramelized (about 8–10 minutes per side).
Oven: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the chicken on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through and brushing with the marinade.
Serve the chicken hot, with grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes, or a fresh salad.
