GNOCCHI WITH TURMERIC CHILI SECRET CREAM AND PEAS

Ingredients:
  • 650 g potato gnocchi
  • 200 g peas
  • 400 g milk
  • 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Secret Powder
  • Extra virgin olive oil "Il Cavallino"
Procedure:
  1. Cook and sauté the peas in a pan with 2 tablespoons of "Il Cavallino" olive oil for 5-6 minutes.
  2. Mix a scant tablespoon of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of water.
  3. Bring the milk to a boil with a teaspoon of Chili Secret Powder and a pinch of salt. Remove from heat and add the dissolved cornstarch in water. Stir until a creamy sauce forms. Adjust salt if needed and incorporate the Parmesan into the cream.
  4. Cook the gnocchi and drain them into the pan with the peas. Sauté everything for less than 1 minute, distribute on plates, and complete with the turmeric cream and a drizzle of "Il Cavallino" olive oil.
