Who loves pasta like me? And how many refrain from it for fear of gaining weight? Another mistake, another fake news... Carbohydrates are a fundamental and indispensable macronutrient for our body, our brain, and our muscles! ????????
"But pasta makes me gain weight," so the best option falls on the salad plate, where I see adding: tuna (canned, with a high concentration of nickel and salt), mozzarella (with a high fat content), corn (also canned with additional doses of salt), olives (they are vegetables so they are good...), oil, and to make it even healthier I add some nuts (excellent foods but very calorie-dense). If we add up the calories of this very healthy salad plate and compare it with a plate of pasta, which one do you think will be less calorific?
Yes! Pasta wins! With this I don't mean that salad shouldn't be eaten, of course it should, but by changing the quality of the ingredients, using fresh fish as a protein source instead of canned, a real corn cob or potatoes as a source of carbohydrates. But above all, I want to emphasize that the much-demonized carbohydrate can be perfectly consumed even in a diet regimen, or rather, in a healthy diet by balancing all the other nutrients correctly.
And to reduce salt, I always add peppery spices! In this recipe, along with the tomato sauce, I added garlic and secret chili.
