Ingredients:
- 500 g of spaghetti
- 500 g of cherry or grape tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh basil
- Salt
- ½ teaspoon of Carolina Reaper Powder No. 17
To prepare pasta with fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, and Carolina Reaper, start by sautéing a clove of garlic in a pan with a bit of extra virgin olive oil. Let the garlic turn slightly golden, then add the cherry or grape tomatoes, previously washed and halved. Cook everything on high heat for about 6-7 minutes, until the tomatoes soften and release their juice, then turn off the heat and season with salt.
Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook 500 grams of spaghetti. Drain the pasta a couple of minutes before it's fully cooked, so it remains al dente, and transfer it directly into the pan with the tomatoes. Turn the heat back on and mix the pasta with the tomatoes for a minute, allowing the flavors to combine.
Once the pasta is well mixed, turn off the heat and add some fresh basil leaves, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and half a teaspoon of Carolina Reaper Powder No. 17 for a spicy kick. Stir again to evenly distribute all the ingredients, and your dish is ready to serve.
