CREMA PICCANTE DI FAVE

Ingredients:
500g fresh broad beans
2 cloves of garlic, peeled
Cold water
Salt to taste
Extra virgin olive oil "Il Cavallino"
Freshly ground black pepper
Jalapeño BIO Powder - N.5
Instructions:
Preparation of broad beans: Wash the broad beans under plenty of cold water. Put them in a saucepan along with the peeled garlic cloves. Cover with cold water until the broad beans are completely submerged.
Cooking the broad beans: Bring the saucepan to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat slightly and let the broad beans cook for about an hour, until they become tender. During cooking, check periodically and add more water if necessary.
Blend the broad beans: Once cooked, drain the broad beans and garlic, reserving some of the cooking water. Transfer the broad beans and garlic to a blender and add a pinch of salt. Blend everything until smooth and creamy, adding some of the cooking water if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
Serving: Transfer the broad bean cream to a serving bowl. Season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil "Il Cavallino" and a few grains of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Finally, sprinkle a pinch of Jalapeño BIO Powder - N.5 for an extra spicy touch.
Serve and enjoy: The spicy broad bean cream is ready to be served. It can be enjoyed as an appetizer, spread on toasted bread crostini, or used as a pasta sauce. Enjoy your meal!
