Habanero and peach hot sauce is a sweet and sour condiment with high spiciness, perfectly balanced by a note of acidity and sweetness. If you love spicy food, this easy and explosively flavorful recipe is a must! For those who prefer a milder taste, less spicy peppers can be used. This sauce is ideal for pairing with smoked chicken wings or turkey wings, but it also goes well with many other dishes.
Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh chopped Habanero
  • 1 ripe yellow peach
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon of salt
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry the peppers, remove the stems, and cut them into pieces. Peel the peach and cut it into pieces. Chop the garlic into not too fine pieces.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pot and lightly sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the peach to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Incorporate the tomato paste and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring well to combine the flavors.
  5. Add the honey, salt, and apple cider vinegar. Bring everything to a boil and then turn off the heat. At the end of cooking, add the fresh chopped Habanero.
  6. Let the sauce cool slightly for about 5 minutes, then blend everything with an immersion blender until smooth and homogeneous.
  7. Pour the sauce into clean jars and close with the lid. For longer storage, boil the jars for 10 minutes.
This sweet and spicy sauce is perfect for accompanying meat, chicken wings, or any other dish you want to enrich with an explosion of flavor. Enjoy!
