Flavored apple chips are a light and healthy snack, perfect for satisfying cravings for something sweet and crunchy guilt-free. With a touch of cinnamon and a hint of banana pepper, these chips offer a delicious and intriguing mix of flavors. Easy to prepare and rich in fiber, apple chips are ideal for a quick snack or to accompany an afternoon tea.


Ingredients
  • 2 apples
  • Cinnamon and banana pepper no. 2, for dusting
Procedure
  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Remove the cores from the apples and slice them very thinly, about 1-2 mm thick using a mandoline. Dust with cinnamon and banana pepper.
  2. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, turning halfway through and removing any slices that have turned brown. Continue baking until the apples are dry and lightly golden.
  4. Allow to cool completely, then store the apple chips in an airtight container and enjoy as a snack.
