Ingredients:
- 90 g of honey
- 60 g of peanut butter
- 50 g of coconut oil (melted)
- 180 g of rolled oats
- 50 g of sliced almonds
- A pinch of fine salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Chocolate chips to taste
- 1 teaspoon of Aji or Banana Pepper chili
Preparation:
Start by combining honey, peanut butter, and well-melted coconut oil in a large bowl; you can warm it in the microwave for a few seconds. Add a pinch of salt and the vanilla extract, mixing well with a fork until you achieve a homogeneous consistency. At this point, slowly incorporate the rolled oats, sliced almonds, chili, and chocolate chips, ensuring that all ingredients are well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a 20x20 cm square mold lined with parchment paper. Level the mixture and press it down well with the help of a spoon. For an extra touch of indulgence, add a few chocolate chips on the surface. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours to solidify properly.
Once the mixture is well set, remove it from the mold using the parchment paper and cut it into bars. Store them in the refrigerator until you're ready to eat. These oat and honey bars, with their pinch of chili, are a healthy and delicious snack, perfect for recharging during the day!
